BREMF is an annual series of events, presenting professional concerts and workshops of music mostly written before 1800. Three choirs are associated with the festival: The BREMF Consort of Voices, The BREMF Community Choir and The Baroque Collective.
The festival comprises events taking place in venues across Brighton and Hove, as well as online. It is run as a charity by a professional team, together with around 50 volunteers who help with publicity and event management. Tickets are sold through the BREMF website (https://www.bremf.org.uk/). BREMF also has an active and successful Friends scheme that enables members to support the organisation financially and to keep in touch with developments and plans (see https://www.bremf.org.uk/festival-friends/). There is a monthly free newsletter, to which anyone can subscribe through the BREMF website.
