Ramped rear entry to hall, accessible toilet
Brighton's French & Breton Dance club - a bit like a ceilidh, only different!
Live music from local and guest musicians from the UK Balfolk community, and visiting bands from France & Belgium. Our house band "Jeudi Matin" starts us off at 8pm. The Bals happen on the last Saturday of every month, usually, apart from August.
We're a group of Francophile friends who do dances from all the regions of France, specialising in the Centre's bourrées and couple dances, and Breton line dances. We show you how, and beginners are very welcome. Shoes that glide over a wooden dance floor are recommended.
Bals start at 8pm, there's an optional Auberge Espagnol (shared supper) from 6.30. Join us on trips to dance festivals in France & UK. Book us for workshops, weddings and town-twinnings.
