The Forest Row Repair Cafe aims to help reduce waste by encouraging a repair culture in our community. A repair can save time, money and waste.
We'll look at almost anything that can be carried in, but the items we repair most frequently are small electrical appliances such as vacuum cleaners and coffee machines, as well as clothing (we don't do alterations!), bikes, mowers, clocks, computers and more. We can also fix some jewellery, ceramics and small pieces of furniture. And we also sharpen knives and garden implements.
We are open on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Community Centre, Hartfield Road, Forest Row. When bringing in any item to be repaired could you please make sure it is clean of any dirt or mud.
All fabric items must be washed before you attend otherwise we may refuse to repair them. Thank you for your understanding and consideration of our repairers.
