Description
What We Do
At SCIP, we believe the arts should be for everyone. From our home at The Crypt Gallery in Seaford, we host inclusive workshops, exhibitions, and community events that welcome people of all ages and backgrounds.
We're passionate about the power of contemporary visual arts to support mental wellbeing and bring communities together.
Breaking Down Barriers
We believe everyone should have access to creative opportunities. That’s why we’re committed to:
- Providing free art workshops for children and families
- Creating inclusive, welcoming spaces
- Supporting mental health, confidence, and social development through art
No matter your age or background, there’s a place for you at SCIP.

The SCIP Team
SCIP is run by a small but mighty team of three: Josie, Alice & Sophie.
Creative professionals dedicated to making art more accessible in Sussex.
They plan and deliver workshops, coordinate events, and are likely to be among the friendly faces you'll meet at The Crypt—or the ones replying to your emails!
The work which they do is heavily supported by a growing number of talented volunteers who are managed by our incredible volunteer coordinator Cat. Head on over to our volunteer page to find out how you could get involved!
