Cumnor Nursery, West Sussex

The beautiful, purpose-built Nursery at Cumnor House Sussex is open 50 weeks a year and offers wraparound care, from 7am to 7pm, for children aged 2 to 4.

Set in 60 acres on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, Cumnor Nursery is a truly wonderful space for young children to explore, investigate, create and discover through play.

Each child is an individual.  We pride ourselves on nurturing their talents, allowing them to embark on their own adventures, both inside and outside the classroom.

We offer a wealth of rich and stimulating experiences where our learning environment and teaching methods encourage each child's curiosity and interests to develop.  Our committed and passionate staff team includes specialist teachers in art, dance, drama, music, sport and swimming.

We aim to develop happy, confident, independent and enquiring children who are eager to explore and will be ready to move onto the next stage of their learning journey, whether they are moving onto our Pre-Prep or onto Primary school.

Nursery sessions include:

• 08:00 - 11:30 Morning session for two year olds
• 08:00 - 13:00 Mornings including lunch
• 08:00 - 15:00 Pre-prep School day including lunch
• 08:00 - 17:00/18:00 Full Day including lunch
• 07:00 - 19:00 Jim-Jam Day: Drop-off at 7am (in their pyjamas if you wish) and collect at 7pm (ready for bed) having had all their meals (snacks, lunch and a hot supper) and a wonderful day. Children can, of course, be dropped off and collected between these times as required.
