Danielle Lees - Childminder

I am an Ofsted registered childminder running a Curiosity Approach Accredited setting. In addition to being a mother, I also hold the below qualifications and I am dedicated to continued professional development. It is my belief that no one can replace a child’s mother, but my aim is to offer your child the closest alternative. My setting offers a home away from home, La Petite Mama in its very name stands for the little mama. I believe that tuning into each child’s uniqueness, following their interests and pairing these with carefully thought-out activities that support their development, will enable them to thrive. To do this I work closely with parents to get to know every child as deeply as possible. I provide your little one with a variety of different activities and outings which are all carefully thought-out and aim to promote your little one’s learning in several key developmental areas. My setting is a safe, caring and stimulating environment, enabling them to achieve their full potential. I place a strong emphasis on learning and development through play, acknowledging individual skills and abilities. I have a huge appreciation for nature and its benefits, together with your little one we will take time to discover ways to connect with it each and every day, while suitably wrapped up for any adventure that takes their fancy.

Wraparound childcare

Wraparound childcare is before and after school childcare for primary school aged children in England. The provision typically runs before school from 8am and after school until 6pm, during term time, either on a school site or another local setting such as a community centre, a nursery, or a childminder. This is different from out-of-school activities, or school clubs, which are less frequent and can be a one-off activity.
