Description
We are a small and friendly fly fishing club, currently with about 30 members, based in the Sussex Ouse Valley in the south of England, with members spread from Dorset to Kent. We meet once a month or so for a fishing day or occasionally for a fly tying, speaker or social evening. We hold an annual dinner where the club's trophies are presented. Our emphasis is on camaraderie and the enjoyment of a varied fly fishing calendar and our members are dedicated to helping each other by sharing ideas, skills and knowledge.
Our fishing excursions take us to large reservoirs such as Bewl and Powdermill, to a variety of small waters in Sussex, Kent and Hampshire and sometimes further afield to rivers and larger still waters.
The club produces a quarterly newsletter (The Dibbler's Digest) containing a mixture of club news, reports on fishing trips, hints and tips and more general fly fishing articles.
New members are always very welcome.
