Rotherfield Primary School Breakfast & After School Club

Breakfast is served until 8am and consists of various cereals, toast, crumpets, pancakes and porridge. Drinks include orange or apple juice, water or milk. At after school club, a snack is served to all children around 3.45pm and consists of fresh fruit, veggie sticks, raisins and/or buttered crackers and breadsticks. Drinks include orange or blackcurrant squash and water. A light tea is served around 5pm and usually consists of sandwiches/wraps with various fillings (toasted or untoasted) and/or a bowl of tomato soup, baked beans, baked beans with sausages, pasta hoops or pasta hoops with sausages. Other options may be available depending on the season. Drinks include blackcurrant squash, milk and water.

Hours

Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am and After School Club runs until 6.00pm (5.30pm on Fridays).

Wraparound childcare

Wraparound childcare is before and after school childcare for primary school aged children in England. The provision typically runs before school from 8am and after school until 6pm, during term time, either on a school site or another local setting such as a community centre, a nursery, or a childminder. This is different from out-of-school activities, or school clubs, which are less frequent and can be a one-off activity.
