Daily living equipment are items that help people who have a disability, illness or health condition with everyday tasks.

Daily living equipment includes:

• shower chairs
• commodes
• bath lifts
• raised toilet seats
• chair raisers
• flashing doorbells, low-vision optical aids and listening devices for people with hearing or visual difficulties

You could get equipment if it'll increase your safety, or help you retain or regain skills. Getting equipment can also help avoid or delay the need to have care.
