East Sussex Cold Alert Service

The East Sussex Cold Alert is a free service for residents of Sussex providing cold weather alerts when extreme cold weather, ice or snow is forecast.

It is open over the winter from November to March.

Cold Health Alerts will be issued directly to subscribers either my text, voicemail or email, when there is a change in the forecast cold weather conditions from the national "UK Health Security Agency" service.

You will receive a Cold Alert when the alert levels change from:

• Green to Yellow - you need to be prepared
• Yellow to Amber and Red  - you will need to take action
