Description
We work with people of all ages who are experiencing difficulties with their day to day activities because of physical, cognitive or environmental/social factors.
Occupational Therapists are high level problem solvers and aim to support individuals to remain as independent as possible, and facilitate the hospital discharge process.
Occupational Therapy may be appropriate if you have had change in your abilities to manage at home or in the community following a change in your medical condition, injury, or surgery.
Referrals can be made by your GP, adult social care workers, acute hospitals and rehab units, paramedics, community nurses, specialist doctors and nurses at the hospital, and some charities.
