East Sussex Heat Alert Service

The East Sussex Heat Alert is a free service for residents of Sussex providing Heatwave alerts when extreme hot weather is forecast.

It is open over the summer from June to September.

Heat Health Alerts will be issued directly to subscribers either my text, voicemail or email, when there is a change in the forecast hot weather conditions from the national "UK Health Security Agency" service.

You will receive a Heat Health Alert when the alert levels change from:

• Green to Yellow - you need to be prepared
• Yellow to Amber and Red  - you will need to take action
