Children's Respite Trust

At the Children's Respite Trust, we truly believe that no family should be left to care for a disabled child alone and so we provide respite throughout East Sussex and into West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, and Kent.

We are the Children’s Respite Trust and provide comprehensive respite support for families across Sussex and some of Kent. The families we support have children with very complex disabilities and medical needs aged 0-19.  Our 5 core services that we offer are the following: Holiday Respite, Community Care, U5’s Provision Support and Sibling’s Club.

Our U5's provision Little Stars is a specialist provision for SEND children 2-4 years old. We like to use a child-led approach to allow children the freedom of choice to explore their environment and the resources around them as they wish. This allows us the opportunity to gain an insight into the children’s interests, which we can then use when planning focus-led activities to help them achieve their development goals and next steps.

Unfortunately, at the moment we are not taking any new referrals for Care. However, our U5's provision are still accepting new referrals.
