Description
Our Mission:
We create mutually beneficial opportunities for our residents and volunteers in the bid to build confidence and improve wellbeing. We do this through encouraging positive friendships and facilitating meaningful social activities.
Our Purpose:
- Overcome barriers to social inclusion.
- Increase residents and volunteers’ happiness and improve confidence.
- Create intergenerational volunteering opportunities.
- Connect volunteers with opportunities that match their passions and interests.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit either 20/30 mins a week to making befriending call to residents in sheltered schemes or committing a couple hours a week to help support the project lead with monthly events, such as games afternoon, fish and chips quiz, VR headsets or any creative activities.
What ever time you can offer we are flexible and open to new ideas that would benefit our residents, give us a call and give some of your time, skills and talents.
We look forward to hearing from you, everyone welcomed - equal opportunity
