There are three venues with wheelchair access.
Table tennis sessions are available in Hastings and Bexhill at various venues and we are particularly keen for players to improve to league standard and beyond. Please contact for details including junior coaching sessions.
Established over 90 years ago although there are now fewer clubs clubs, participation is now increasing. It is particularly good to see how the standard of juniors have improved with several young people representing Sussex and some are England ranked in their age groups.
There are approximately 150 senior and junior league players with ages up to 80 plus that play locally every week.Younger players are now progressing into senior league play and there are a number of local junior events throughout the year. Loan equipment is available at most clubs and advice on bats etc is readily provided. Table Tennis England registered coaches are able to assist players that wish to progress and play at higher levels.
Table tennis, a fast-moving, exciting, skilful sport that is good for general wellbeing and relatively low impact on your body. Social table tennis is also available and some venues have fully compliant wheelchair-friendly tables.
