Meridian Lacemakers

We are a friendly group of lacemakers who enjoy meeting up to chat and make all types of lace and related crafts. We meet at Denton Island Community Centre, Newhaven on the third Saturday of  every month from 10am to 3.30pm (apart from December which is earlier)

We are happy to introduce people to the craft of lacemaking in all its forms, with instruction given on one of our beginners’ pillows and ongoing help. We also welcome those interested in tatting, crochet, knitting and cross stitch or any other thread art you can think of!

Bring lunch and a mug for tea or coffee which is provided.

Annual subscription is £70 but there are guest rates if you would like to try before joining.

There is plenty of free parking and a pleasant little garden to sit in on a sunny day.
