Description
Welcoming all with an interest in gardening, the Society was formed in 1897 and currently has around 200 members from the local area. Our President is Fergus Garrett, renowned CEO and Head Gardener at Great Dixter.
The Society has a full and lively program including the Spring and Autumn shows, four lectures a year, the Summer Social and Christmas Social, plus an annual coach trip. We are well known for our annual sale of plants grown by Great Dixter's students and members. Membership is just £5.00 per year.
