Hastings Sanctuary Service

Turning Point's Hastings Sanctuary Service provides short term residential support for up to seven people in a mental health crisis or/and a Personality Disorder.

We offer individualised care, practical help and emotional support, enabling people to overcome their period of crisis and find new ways of coping in the future . To access The Sanctuary, service users have to be referred by Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.

Main activities are TV, relaxation therapies, board games, gardening and cooking. These are only for the clients at the service. People stay for a very short period of time: Mental health crisis generally 4-7 days, Personality Disorder maximum 3 days, Age 18+ years.
