If you're scared of your partner, we are here for you. You are not alone.
You can speak to a member of the National Domestic Abuse Helpline team at any time, day or night.
The Helpline adviser will offer confidential, non-judgemental information and expert support. They will provide a listening ear if you want to talk about your experiences and support you to work through your options in the short and long term. Our aim is to work with you to keep you safe and give you information so you can make informed choices. We will never tell you what to do.
On our website we also offer a live chat service where you can chat with an adviser in confidence and in silence, Monday – Friday, 3pm – 10pm.
You can also receive support from an adviser via a qualified BSL interpreter on a video call.
Support for men
Men experience domestic abuse, too. You might feel scared, isolated, and confused. You might feel ashamed or afraid to tell anyone about your situation. But you are not alone, there is support available - see Support for men.
