This service supports and enables children and adults with complex neurodisability in a safe, nurturing environment, promoting good health, and optimising function and quality of life.
Our multi-disciplinary team (MDT) includes nurses, occupational therapists, doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, rehabilitation engineers, speech and language therapists, healthcare and therapy assistants, clinical scientists, pharmacists, and a dietitian.
Multi-disciplinary team: A multi-disciplinary team (MDT) is a group of health and care staff who are members of different organisations and professions (e.g. GPs, social workers, nurses), that work together to make decisions regarding the treatment of individual patients and service users. MDTs are used in both health and care settings.
Our focus is for children and adults in our care to be secure and comfortable, and to promote their independence, enabling them to be active in their wider community.
We deliver need-led, bespoke therapeutic and medical care for children and adults with diverse and often fluctuating conditions related to their complex disability.
Through their expertise, our specialist clinicians identify needs and formulate a care plan or programme to assess, design and provide adaptive equipment to help our patients maximise their potential and participation in society.
The majority of our services are designed for children and young people; however, some also support adults with complex neurodisability and health needs. Details can be found below and on the individual service pages.
