Find a List of all independent schools and colleges  from GOV.UK for children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), including:

• schools and colleges approved under section 41 of the Children and Families Act 2014 in England and Wales
• independent special schools in England, including non-maintained special schools  approved under section 342 of the Education Act 1996

Parents and carers can fund places themselves, or may apply to the Local Authority for a place as part of the process of agreeing an Education, Health and Care plan. Places will only be agreed in certain circumstances.
