Description
Everyone is welcome! From beginners to experienced sewers.
Join local residents and friends, Janice & Sarahjane for a friendly Monday morning of sewing, making, sharing ideas and learning together.
Whether you’re an experienced sewer or just starting out, we’d love you to join us. Perhaps you have a hole to mend, clothes to repair, a dress to make, or an unfinished project waiting to be completed. Bring along whatever you’d like to sew!
Together, we can:
- Help with sewing problems.
- Help with alterations and repairs.
- Help with pattern alterations and garment fitting.
- Recycle and transform old items into something new.
- Share ideas, tips and creative inspiration.
- Learn new skills, build confidence and make friends.
We’ll share our knowledge, celebrate what we achieve and learn from one another. No question is too small, and everyone has something to share!
What should I bring?
Please bring your own sewing equipment and materials for your project. A sewing machine will also be available for you to use.
Help us get this Sewing Group started!
This is a trial session to see how much interest there is and find out what everyone would enjoy. If it goes well, we hope to make it a regular group. Come along and join in, we’d love to meet you and see your projects!
Your Hosts Janice & Sarahjane
