Description
- Everyday Tactility at Portslade Library. 16th - 30th April: Drop in during library opening hours to see short film Everyday Tactility made by local artists Charlotte Spencer and Zoe Manders. Everyday Tactility is a 7 minute silent film exploring the importance of touch in our lives. It captures and celebrates the beautiful, intimate, richly tactile relationships that exist between our bodies, each other and the world we live in. The film will be touring all libraries across the city over the next few months, so look out for where it will be popping up next!
- Our Hands at Portslade Library. 16th April, 10am-1pm and 2-5pm: We're hosting a gentle conversational experience called Our Hands created by dance artist Vicky Malin. This short 10-15 minute conversation explores the stories, possibilities and perceptions of our hands - what feels unique or connects us through gesture, doodle and words. Vicky will be in Portslade Library factilitating this 10-15 minutes piece that combines conversation with drawing. No need to book in advance. Vicky will be very happy to meet you!
