The Studio

The Studio is a professional arts space for people with disabilities based at Rye Creative Centre in Rye. It is a small setting for artists to come and create any project they wish to under the direction of practising artist Jenny Edbrooke. We offer a range of mediums,  learning resources and tutoring for people to come and have a go at any art form. We currently cater for artists who have physical disabilities, mental health issues and/or dementia.

We have a beautiful outside space in which artists can go and work or even partake in gardening projects with our keen horticulture and woodwork volunteers.

The Studio offers a supportive, calm and happy setting for artists and non-artists alike to come and spend the day (9.15-3.15pm), with breakfast, lunch and all refreshments provided. We also have a good sized pool table and keen chess players for those days when creativity isn't flowing!
