Community Basketball Initiative CIC

This is a free, after school session for young people aged 11-16 from the Seahaven area. The session is designed to offer multi sports activities for young people with additional needs. Based at Newhaven Fort Road Recreation grounds, our highly experienced coaches and youth workers will offer a unique opportunity to positively impact young peoples life.

Additional needs includes:

• Special needs: Special educational needs and/or disability (SEND) is the term given when a child has a learning difficulty or disability that makes it significantly more difficult to learn comparied to the majority of children of the same age.
• Young people Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET) as the needs from young people in this category are also additional to the majority of children of the same age.
